with cassie and val. 

tomorrow morning, 

power class with meghan currie

to her eclectic mix of music. 

last class we took savasana

to nina simone's music and 

i got really emotional. 

and yet, i'm feeling good.

just another day

i had an amazing week. 

it's the weekend na!

ran around stanley park with ej and josh. 

it was super sunny and i got tan lines. 

it's summer. i'm so happy.

moses and the aquarium

it is my nephew, moses', 3rd birthday soon, 

so i wanted to surprise him, chloe and stef

with a spontaneous "vancouver adventure."

last week i took them to the aquarium for his

birthday pressie. i didn't tell them ahead of time

where we were going until i got in the car. 

(stef was freaked out!)

it was more fun pumping ourselves up

about all the animals we would see.

and thus it unfolded...

momo is so stylish. he picked out his neck scarf and hat. 

and stylish momma.

at the end of the day, they hung out on my lap for a bit

outside next to the dolphins.

it was such a funnnnn day!!!

i'm so glad i could be part of their

excitement and joy and wonderment. 

it's so amazing going to the aquarium with kids

cuz they make you see things with new eyes, 

through another perspective. 

and sometimes all you need is a new 

perspective to be amazed once again.

momma's high tea

last sunday i took mom to the secret garden high tea 

company for mother's day. 

it was our first high tea together and that was fun!

in sydney i went to a lot of high teas on the weekends. 

it's a great time to relax, eat and drink the day away.

mom ordered secret garden tea. 

i ordered lavender earl grey tea. 

and as you can see, the treats looked lovely
 and yum on the three tiered plates. 

my favourite was the key lime cheesecake 

and the scones with strawberry jam and creme fraiche.

i will defs be goin back again

to have some more high tea!

5 minute photo shoot

yep it's true. 

it was 5 min. 

and with tiff's instagram. 

not only can she shoot with big cameras, 

but also with small iphone ones. ;)

last friday nite we went on a cocktail hopping jaunt

around gastown, our fave hood. 

first hit up POURHOUSE with a bigas apple tart for 2.

then clough bar, had an apiary. 

sauntered on down to DIAMOND.

ended at houseguest.

somehow she fit in a 5 min. shoot in between 

houseguest and home. she's sneaky...

it was a good chill time. 

fun to check out the joints 

and compare them to others

and figure out our fave drinks.

diamond's still my fave spot.

the black keys was freakin amazing last nite!

ryan and i got scalpers tix for cheaper

than the going price.

that was sweetas. 

the best part was when they did

an encore and played "everlasting light."

AND LITERALLY,

i mean LITERALLY,

the whole arena was lit up by

one huge sparkle bubble!!!

ok, disco ball.

(sparkle bubble just sounds cooler.)

tiredas. crazy week man.

got 4.5 hrs of sleep last nite,

got up at 5:15am, worked til 2,

had a lunch date with jolie at the

new cactus club at english bay (you

gotta go there), power vinyasa at 5:30,

home at 8pm. about to sleep nowwww...

and then start it all again manana.

yeehawwwww!
